Cloud / Architecture / Azure
Hi, I'm Sakari from Finland. I started developing with .NET in 2002, and since then have worked in big and small projects to build software. In 2011, we founded Zure together with a friend. Azure had been commercially launched a year before, and we were, and still are, excited about the new technological opportunities offered by this new paradigm called Platform-as-a-Service. Zure focuses on building scalable cloud solutions the right way and using Azure correctly.
I work as the CEO of Zure, and even though I still identify as a coder and a software architect, other skills such as business development, partnerships, speaking engagements, and especially leadership have come to mean a lot to me as well.
I founded Finland Azure User Group in 2013. I also co-host a regular podcast Ikkunastudio about Microsoft (encrypted in Finnish thought). Both endeavors have been a lot of fun, mostly due to being able to meet a lot of interesting people.
Talk to me about cloud computing, software architecture, development, Azure, teamwork, culture, and entrepreneurship.
